About Suffolk Folk

Suffolk Folk is a non-profit making organisation promoting traditional song, music and dance in Suffolk.

We financially support projects placing folk artists in schools, a monthly traditional music workshop, we run the Suffolk Folk Annual Playford Ball, we support a number of dances and concerts and run other one-off events throughout the year.

We also publish Mardles, a high quality, quarterly magazine with gig guides, reviews, news, information, contact details and adverts for all things folky anywhere in East Anglia. So have a look at the other pages to see the events we organise, and if you'd like to get involved, find the joining instruction on the contact page, help raise the profile of folk music and dance in schools across Suffolk, get "Mardles" our quarterly magazine (free to members) and enjoy discounts at all Suffolk Folk events.

EFDSS Affiliated Suffolk Folk is affiliated to the English Folk Dance and Song Society.
